Sit, Boo-boo: Dogs take on fMRI scanner

To better understand the way dogs think and process language, researchers at the Family Dog Project in Hungary scanned 13 family pets in an fMRI scanner.

Data suggests that these loving animals are able to understand the meaning and tone of human speech. Dogs are also similar in the sense that they process language just like humans do.

Many questioned how exactly were researchers able to keep them still for eight full minutes while they were scanned, and ethologist at Eotvos Lorand University Marta Gacsi, tells us just how she did it.
